Field |
Description |
Valid codes or ranges |
---|---|---|
Name |
A unique name for the block. |
Any string, up to 6 alphanumeric characters and parenthesis. The name cannot include any hyphens, dots, or spaces. Be aware that after you create a stack block, you cannot edit the name of the block. |
Block Type |
The type of the block. This corresponds to the block type code in XPS. See the Table of block type codes (on page 1) for a full list of block types, the corresponding code in XPS, and the configuration style. |
For example:
|
Anchor Latitude |
The latitude coordinates of the block's anchor point. |
0° to 90° |
Anchor Longitude |
The longitude coordinates of the block's anchor point. |
0° to 180° |
Anchor Orientation |
The angle of rotation from the plan view layout of your yard that the block rotates from the X axis. |
A positive or negative integer between 0 and 359. If there is no rotation, the value is 0 (zero). |
Code Chars |
An optional array of 4 characters, each with a specific meaning and purpose. You use it to group blocks, to define blocks as transfer areas, to control dispatch behavior to trucks, or to define the straddle exchange grid or area association. See Code chars field options (on page 1) for more information. For sites using transfer zones (such as ASC operations), to ensure XPS completes work instructions properly, make sure you do not group together transfer zone blocks with ASC blocks. This ensures that moves in a TZ get position updates and are not completed like moves in an ASC block. For more information, see Affiliation Code for blocks with transfer zones (on page 1). |
An array of 4 characters. You can also enter a single space for any position you are not using. (Do not enter commas between the characters.) |
RTG Lane |
If you selected a Transtainer (RTG) block above, you can now select the name of the RTG lane that services that block.
|
Select an RTG Lane name from the drop-down list. RTG Lane names can be added, edited, and deleted only in the RTG Lanes tab (on page 1) of the Yard Model form (on page 1). |
